RAMAYANA : The Proof of its Occurrence

Its a new day and let's talk about something new today,..something which fascinates people but at the same time is considered as nothing greater than a myth. Well, as a matter of fact, while there are no hardcore pieces of evidence about the occurrence of  Ramayana(our today's topic), however, there are a lot of incidences that cannot be simply cast off as coincidences which have been detected by modern technology. 

By the current estimation of the ancientness of the Earth, it is believed that the Earth is 4600 Million Years old. Let us correlate this massive time to a lifespan of a woman's life with each year of the woman representing 100 Million Years of the Earth. Then after processing a couple of algorithms, we will get to know that animals began to appear around 6 years back, while some ape occurrences were detected about a week back and it is about a couple of hours ago that we Homo-Sapiens began to live a systematic life by hunting, gathering,etc.. 
Now, talking about history, it would shock you to know that it was about 8-9 minutes ago that we started to maintain some semblance of Historic Records. So, one can clearly say that the "History Of Mankind" is quite pathetic and that we do not have many databases to rely upon for evidence.

While hearing stories of Ramayana, everyone is fascinated by its key character - Sri Ram Chandra. However, these stories or tales do not tell us what the Epic tells us - the planetary positions of Ram Navami or the Birth of Rama.
It gives us the following :
1. Sun in Aries
2. Saturn in Libra
3. Jupiter in Cancer
4. Venus in Pisces
5. Mars in Capricorn
6. The lunar month of Chaitra
7. Ninth day after the new moon, Shukla Paksha
8. Moon near Punarvasu Nakshatra
9. Pollux star in Gemini constellation
10. Cancer as ascendant rising in East
11. Jupiter above the horizon

This, when plugged into an astronomical software give us a clear date and time of the birth of Lord Ram - 12:30 p.m., 10th of January, 5114 B.C.
This date is quite valid because a rough estimate of the ancientness of the rocks used in construction the bridge between India and Sri Lanka is around 5135 B.C. which is around the time when Sita was abducted by Raavana which is around 13 years after Lord Ram was exiled which is about 7000 years ago.

This bridge or Rama Setu as it came to be known, was quite a  highlighted portion of this Epic as it aroused quite a lot of archaeologists who were searching for evidence of the occurrence of Ramayana. And, they were surprised by the correlation between the ancient texts and the present-day reports regarding this bridge :
Taking into consideration the data obtained from the World Oceanography Studies, per year, the annual rise in the water level in this region is around 0.2 to 1.29mm which makes up to 9 feet over 7000 years. However, by the epic, the bridge was at a height of around 6 feet below the surface of the water as compared to what it is today. This means that the bridge was about 3 feet above the water surface which is proper enough for the crossing of a massive army.
However, one could feel that the construction of such a bridge is unimaginable. But, on the contrary, it would have been quite easy as there would have existed portions of land above the surface of the water which means that for constructing the bridge, one only had to fill in the portions which had sunken below the water level.
There exist sufficient records indicating the use of this link all the way up to 1480 B.C. after which it was hit by a massive cyclone.

Further, the Ramayana tells us that the bridge was 10: 1 in dimensions which fit in perfectly by the satellite reading which tells the length and breadth of the bridge is 35 km and 3.5 km respectively.
Also, one might feel the concept of a Vanara or Monkey army being hypothetical. However, the word Vanara does not at all indicate monkeys or even apes, these people were simply Vana Nara - "People of the Forests".

Now, a person well interested in the original Ramayana that was written by Sage Valmiki, one would remember the 182 plants mentioned by Lord Ram in his 14 years of exile which corresponded exactly to the present flora and fauna of the region was experimentally detected by 2 Chennai based Botanist researchers. But, the important question - How could a sage sitting 2 thousand miles away know these astonishing botanical facts unless he had access to the description given by the actual travelers?...

All these questions, facts, evidences, and proofs point to exactly one thing: The occurrence of The Great Epic of Ramayana..... however, the "exile of fourteen years" does sound a bit fictional; but then, I believe that there always exists a story behind the story.....
